About Us

Jonathan Rose Fine Furniture was founded in 1997 on a singular conviction: that the finest spaces in the world deserve furniture of equal distinction.

Working from Manor Farm Workshop near Malmesbury in Wiltshire, Jonathan and his team create pieces that transcend the merely functional — combining the traditions of English cabinetmaking with the precision demanded by the world's most discerning clients.

With more than 25 years refining the craft of cabinetmaking, we work intimately with interior designers, naval architects and private clients worldwide — translating a brief, or sometimes no more than a feeling, into something extraordinary and lasting.

Our work spans superyachts in the Mediterranean to country estates, London townhouses and private residences across continents. The common thread is an uncompromising devotion to material, proportion and finish.

Bespoke Interiors

Every interior we create is a testament to our ability to solve complex challenges while delivering uncompromising quality.

We work across a breadth of styles — from classical and heritage detailing to contemporary, highly engineered spaces — always beginning with a deep understanding of how a space is truly lived in.

From a fitted library to a single dining table of rare perfection, our approach never changes: absolute care for material selection, grain matching, proportion and surface finish.

"The Summer School demands that you work to a very high standard, as would be expected in a commercial set-up. Maintaining this high quality throughout all my work will be my benchmark going forward."

The Solent Table

The Solent Table is a bespoke piece for luxury marine and residential environments.

The tabletop features a figured teak veneer, framed by a snow-white lacquered perimeter, with a polished stainless-steel structure and detailing.

At its centre is the distinctive outline of the Isle of Wight, laser-cut from marine-grade 316 stainless steel and set into the teak — a direct reference to the table's namesake, the Solent.

The tabletop is finished to a deep, high gloss using premium Marineware lacquer coatings, enhancing the natural character of the teak while providing a durable finish suitable for marine use.

Constructed using materials selected for demanding indoor and outdoor environments, the Solent Table is designed for use aboard a superyacht or within a high-end residential setting.
